Some summers just pass by.
And some summers change the trajectory of a life.
If we chose, as a team, to make a concrete commitment to sending children to summer camp, it wasn’t for marketing purposes.
It’s because this initiative was born from a true story — that of Maxime Tardif, real estate broker at Royal LePage and founder of Équipe Tardif.
When summer isn't accessible to everyone
Many children don’t grow up in families that can afford to send them to summer camp. For many, summer isn’t always synonymous with travel, adventure, or discovery.
And yet.
At the age of 14, someone decided to give me a real chance.
A real one.
With the help of my English as a second language teachers, who supported me in preparing my applications, I was able to apply to camps in the United States.
I was then given the opportunity to attend a summer camp in Vermont. A simple place, but profoundly transformative.
More than a camp: a turning point
It wasn’t just a camp.
It was a space to breathe, to build trust, and to push beyond limits.
A place where I learned that I could become something other than what my circumstances suggested.
That summer — and the ones that followed — strengthened my confidence, broadened my worldview, and solidified my identity.
They changed the way I see life.
A chance received… that must be given back
Looking back, I know today that not everyone has that chance.
And I also know that a single summer can make a lasting difference, especially for a child who doesn’t have access to the same opportunities.
That’s why we decided, as a team, to take a simple, concrete, and measurable step:
For every transaction completed, a contribution is made to a fund dedicated to sending children to summer camp.
Not in ten years.
Not “when things are going well.”
Now.
More than a camp: a catalyst for transformation

Clients who participate in this initiative receive a symbolic certificate acknowledging their contribution to giving a child a summer — including the child’s first name, when possible.
Because behind every donation, there is a real story.

Why we do all of this
Because someone did it for me.
Because I tell this story in my book Jamais immobile.
And because I deeply believe that success only has meaning when it circulates.
And above all, because giving a child a chance sometimes means offering them:
